Jordan William & Son (Funeral Directors) Limited

William Jordan & Son (Funeral Directors) Limited is a truly independent family concern. It was established in 1907 and is currently owned by David & Breta Jordan (3rd generation) and run by their daughter, Tracy (4th generation).

Tracy gained her N.A.F.D Diploma in Funeral Directing in 1984 and in 1991 both she and her sister Gail qualified as B.I.E embalmers.

Jordan’s is now one of the oldest, original family-run concerns of its kind in Scotland. It is a member of N.A.F.D., S.A.I.F. and Selected Independent Funeral Homes. SELECTED is one of the profession’s most highly respected international organisations and the firm was honoured to be invited to join in 1995.

The firm was further honoured in 2002, when the Decree of Fellowship of the B.I.E. was conferred on David.
